Today I am giving thanks for: Good Health.

I am incredibly thankful for the good health I normally experience. For me, most of the last 36 hours have been spent horizontal & sleeping on and off.

This isn’t a reaction to gluten – but just the every day yuck so many experience each year. I seldom get a cold or the flu, I don’t know why. That is just how God made me. Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I was sick. Usually, when I start to get sick if I just stop and sleep it is over. This bout blind-sided me. I was fine Saturday. Woke up feeling yuck Sunday morning. I was so disappointed, it was Baby Mae’s baby dedication too. I made it from the shower to the couch (~15 feet) then I was out. I did get up at 8 this morning, worked a couple hours, took a couple hour nap, now it’s 6pm and I’m ready for bed…..

I want say I am also incredibly, indescribably thankful for all who have served and are serving our country with their lives. ‘Thank you’ seems so inadequate, yet it is all I can say. I am honored to be an American where so many believe our freedoms important enough to be willing to put their life on the line – for others. THANK YOU!

Don’t forget to pray for those heading out for Peru – I can’t imagine feeling this way and traveling.

Giving Thanks
